Record Start for TMK IPSCO

TMK (LSE: TMKS) announces third quarter production results at its US subsidiary. In the third quarter of 2008, TMK IPSCO shipped 231.9 thousand tonnes of pipe products to its customers, including 86.1 thousand tonnes in September alone. Steel production amounted to 85 thousand tonnes. The September shipment volumes were the highest monthly shipments recorded since TMK IPSCO's consolidation in June 2008. These record-setting volumes were achieved despite hurricane Ike's impact in the first half of September.  TMK (www.tmk-group.com)
