ONGC Picks TMK for Casing Pipe Supply
TMK (LSE: TMKS), one of the world's largest oil and gas pipe producers, announces today that it signed a supply contract with ONGC, India's largest oil and gas company.
TMK was preferred to other global pipe producers and won a tender conducted by ONGC for the supply of casing pipe. Under the terms of the agreement, TMK will supply ONGC with approximately 20,000 tonnes of 244.48 mm OD seamless casing pipe. The pipes will be produced at TMK's Volzhsky mill in south-western Russia with shipments scheduled to run throughout 2009-2010.
