Transaction in own shares
In accordance with Listing Rule 12.4.6, Stobart Group announces that on 2 August 2016 the Company acquired 75,078 ordinary shares of 10 pence in the Company for a price per share of 107p pursuant to an agreement entered into on 10 May 2016. These shares are to be held in treasury.
Following the above purchase, the total number of ordinary shares in issue is 354,328,831. The Company holds 10,081,778 ordinary shares as treasury shares.
The total number of voting rights in Stobart, excluding treasury shares, as at 17 August 2016 is 344,247,053. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Stobart Group under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
