SQN SECURED INCOME FUND PLC

MANAGING DIRECTOR APPOINTED

SQN Capital Management ("SQN"), the multinational alternative investment fund manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dawn Kendall as Managing Director of SQN Asset Management Ltd, the UK Manager of the SQN Secured Income Fund PLC (LSE-SSIF).

Dawn joins SQN from TwentyFour Asset Management ("TwentyFour") where she was a Partner, Portfolio Manager and a Member of the Executive Committee. She started her career at SG Warburg (now UBS), and has since held senior investment and management positions at Newton, Axa (Architas), and Investec Wealth & Investment as well as at TwentyFour. Her primary specialism is fixed income with an extensive background in investment trusts, structured finance, product development, marketing, risk, derivatives and hedge funds. She has a first degree in Law and an MBA.

Dawn will report to the Chairman and Co-Founder of SQN, Neil Roberts, and take up her position in respect of SSIF, the LSE-listed investment trust which invests in a wide range of secured, income-producing assets with a focus on SMEs, with effect from 1st August 2017.

Dawn Kendall commented further: "After over thirty, successful years working in the investment management industry, joining SQN was a logical step. Dawn will retain her other business interests in the consultancy firm Herschel Advisory Limited and her advisory role with CityHive.
