Sportech PLC Sportech signs distribution deal with The Daily Telegraph
Sportech PLC ("Sportech" or "the Company") Sportech, the UK's leading football gaming business, is pleased to announce that it has secured an important online and offline distribution deal with The Daily Telegraph, ahead of the launch of the new Premier League football season. This deal follows the existing media partnerships with The Daily Mirror, FourFourTwo and Footy Mad announced at the Company's interim results on 5 August. Under the terms of the partnership agreement, The Daily Telegraph will host two new games from The New Football Pools gaming suite, Premier 10 and Footy 15, offering them to over 6 million unique users who visit the Telegraph.co.uk website each month. In print, The Daily Telegraph sport section will feature a dedicated weekly column written by Alan Hansen in his dual role as the Telegraph's face of football and a member of The New Football Pools 'Pools Pundits' team. Last season The Daily Telegraph's fantasy football game attracted on average over 12 million page views a month. Further advertising and marketing initiatives, both online and in print, have been incorporated into this agreement to create a strong visible presence for The New Football Pools across The Daily Telegraph.
