Strategic Natural Resources plc (AIM:SNRP) were informed yesterday that, as of 11 January 2011, Coal of Africa Limited no longer have an interest in the issued share capital of SNR.

David Nel, Chief Executive of SNR, commented: "We view this sale by Coal of Africa as a broadening of the shareholder base of SNR as we understand that Coal of Africa are in the process of divesting their non core investments. We are delighted to welcome a number of new shareholders to the Company as a result of the placing of Coal of Africa's shares."
