London, 21 November, 2012 - Silence Therapeutics plc (AIM: SLN) ("Silence" or the "Company"), announces that the Company is in advanced discussions to raise additional funds from a strategic partner and existing shareholders through the issue of new ordinary shares.
The proposed issue of new ordinary shares is not expected to require shareholder approval.
