Confirmation of Board Appointment
Gareth Thomas joins as a Non-executive Director
Further to the announcement made on 8 December 2014, Share plc (AIM: SHRE.LN), parent company of The Share Centre (a leading independent retail stockbroker) and Sharefunds (the Group's investment management and fund administration subsidiary), is pleased to announce the Financial Conduct Authority has granted approval for the appointment of Gareth Thomas as a Non-executive Director. Gareth has also been appointed to the Boards of The Share Centre Limited and Sharefunds Limited. He was previously an executive Board director of John Lewis plc for ten years until his retirement in 2010.
Other senior management changes:
The Share Centre Limited has restructured its sales, marketing and PR functions and reporting lines. A key objective was to bring together all aspects of responsibility for customer experience and engagement. As a result of these changes, Guy Knight, formerly Sales and Marketing Director of The Share Centre Limited, has left the Group. We would like to thank Guy for his substantial contribution to the business over many years and he leaves with our best wishes for the future.
