Richard Jonah is one of the founder members of Jonah Capital, a private equitycompany established in 2003 which holds significant investments in the financialservices industry in Africa. More recently Jonah Capital has been takingadvantage of investment opportunities in African mining ventures - a sectorassociated with the Jonah family for more than 30 years. Richard Kojo Jonah, aged 30, is a Ghanian by birth and an economics graduatefrom Haverford College in the United States. He has gained valuable experiencein the investment banking divisions of Goldman Sachs in New York, and at NMRothschild in London, at which time he traveled extensively in Africa.
