DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS

Shaftesbury PLC ("the Company") announces that on 1 July 2016, the following Directors were granted options to acquire shares under the Company's Sharesave Scheme as follows:

Options over Ordinary 25p Shares

B Bickell 2,024

S J Quayle 2,024

T J C Welton 2,024

Options were granted at £7.41 per share representing a 20% discount to the average mid market closing price during the period ending 9 June 2016. Each Director has entered into a 5 year savings contract at £250 per month. Options are exerciseable during a six month period commencing 1 August 2021.
