Sepura PLC01 November 2007 Sepura recruits two senior hires CAMBRIDGE, England, 1 November 2007 - Sepura plc (LSE: SEPU), a leading providerof TETRA digital radios, today announces that it has strengthened its productdevelopment management team, with the appointment of Dr Michael Schmitt,formerly of EADS, and Warren Drummond, formerly of Symbian. The appointmentswill help Sepura develop best-in-class products to the growing TETRA radiomarket. Dr Michael Schmitt will manage a number of critical product programmes using newtechnologies. Before joining Sepura, Michael spent six years in seniormanagement positions with EADS Secure Networks in Germany. He led the projectthat delivered the digital radio network for German security authorities andorganisations. Later, as programme manager, he ran an international team of 60engineers and developers. His extensive development and project management experience includes working inthe USA, Europe and New Zealand for global players in 3G cellular, GSM-R,TETRAPOL and TETRA on digital communication technologies. Warren Drummond will assume responsibility for Product Management and Sepura'sproduct road map. Warren joins Sepura from Symbian, where he was Director ofProduct Planning for three years and delivered Symbian OS into over 50 millionhandsets. Before joining Symbian, he worked for four years at T-Mobile.
