WITHDRAWAL FROM TAPEX DISCUSSIONS
On 21 March 2013, in response to press speculation, Scapa Group plc ("Scapa") confirmed that it had entered into a consortium agreement with SkyLake Incuvest, a South Korean based private equity investor, and both parties were in preliminary discussions with Tapex, which may lead to its joint acquisition.
Scapa today announces that it has been unable to agree acceptable terms with the sellers of Tapex and has withdrawn from discussions.
