Appointment of Non-Executive Director
RPC Group Plc ("RPC" or the "Company"), announces the appointment of Kevin Thompson FCA to the Board of Directors of the Company as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Kevin is currently Group Finance Director of Halma plc having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.
Kevin joined Halma plc in 1987 and became Group Finance Director in 1998. Halma is a decentralised, FTSE 250 manufacturing and technology business that has an established track record of delivering strong growth over the long-term both organically and through acquisitions. The company has significant operations in the UK, Mainland Europe, the USA and Asia.
Having joined the Company as an independent Director in 2009, Martin Towers will retire from the Board in 2018, and Kevin will take over Martin's responsibility as Chairman of the Audit Committee in January next year. A further announcement concerning this and who will assume Martin's additional responsibilities as Senior Independent Director will follow in due course.

There are no further details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
