Booth Industries Group PLC22 September 2005 Booth Industries Group PLC ("Booth") Directorate Change The Board of Booth announces the appointment of David James Jackson as executivechairman with immediate effect. David, aged 58, was the executive chairman ofPeterhouse Group PLC until its sale to Babcock International Group PLC in June2004. As notified on 1 September 2005, David has an interest in 9.5% of theissued ordinary share capital of Booth. The Board is pleased to have been able to effect this appointment in advance ofthe retirement of Derek Ablett, non-executive chairman, as announced on 9September 2005. Accordingly, Derek is stepping down from the board withimmediate effect. Mr Jackson was a director of those companies on that datehaving been appointed by 3i and the companies' bankers, Royal Bank of Scotland,to perform recovery work. There are no further disclosures to be made in connection with Mr Jackson underthe requirements of Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
