ExplorationΒ UpdateΒ -Β MambareΒ drilling begins

Regency Mines plc ("the Company") the mining exploration and mineral investment company with interests in copper and nickel inΒ Western Australia,Β Queensland, andΒ Papua New Guinea, announces recent developments at its Mambare lateritic nickel-cobalt project inΒ Oro Province,Β Papua New GuineaΒ ("Mambare").
The drilling programme at MambareΒ isΒ beginningΒ onΒ the expected timescale. The purpose of the programme, of up to 10,000 metres drilled,Β extendable to 20,000 metres,Β isΒ to penetrate the complete laterite profile through to bedrock in order to establish a resource on part of the license area. Six drill rigs have been taken to the Aruma camp site.Β TwoΒ drill rigs have been set up on drill sites on 22400N and 22800N lines west of the ArumaΒ River. Drilling of these holes willΒ commence on Saturday 9th August.Β A third rig will be taken across the ArumaΒ RiverΒ to set up on line 21600N.Β This rigΒ is expected toΒ start drilling on 10thΒ or 11thΒ August.
