Ricardo PLC (the "Company") announces that it has today received notification that on 30 October 2013 Peter Gilchrist, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 820 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company ("Shares") at a price of £6.0525 per Share.

Following the above transaction, the total beneficial holding of Shares of Peter Gilchrist is 4,970 Shares, representing approximately 0.01% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

The above notifications are intended to satisfy the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule ("DTR") 3.1.4R.
