The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for a block listing of 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand) ordinary shares of £1 each to be admitted to the Official List and to trade on the London Stock Exchange. Admission of the shares is expected to be effective on 28 March 2018.

The shares will be allotted pursuant to the Company's obligations under the following share plans:

· 1,000,000 (one million) ordinary shares of £1 each in respect of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc UK Sharesave Plan 2017; and

· 500,000 (five hundred thousand) ordinary shares of £1 each in respect of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc Irish Sharesave Plan 2017.

The shares will rank equally with the existing ordinary shares of the Company.
