The Directors of Quadrise Fuels International ("QFI" or the "Company"), the manufacturer of emulsion fuels as low cost substitutes for heavy fuel oils in power generation, industrial and marine, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Dilipkumar ("Dilip") Kantilal Shah, aged 61, as a non-executive director with effect from 5 November 2010.

As detailed in the announcement relating to a placing by the Company on 18 August 2010, under the terms of the placing, one of the investors had the right to nominate a director of the Company.

Mr Shah brings with him over 25 years of commercial experience in trading, finance, manufacturing and distribution. Dilip has most recently been involved in trading/manufacturing in West Africa with focus on Nigeria, DRC and Ghana. He is a director and/or a founder member of various companies in West Africa involved in the distribution of fertilizers/chemicals, tobacco related products and the manufacture of food products. In addition he is on the board of a number of private companies

Mr Shah has a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977.
