Dealing by Employee Benefit Trust
London, UK, 20 January 2010 Ark Therapeutics Group plc ("Ark" or the "Company") announces that on 7 January 2010 it allotted 1,640,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company to Barclays Wealth Trustees (Guernsey) Limited as trustee of the Ark Therapeutics Group Employee Benefit Trust (the "EBT"), at a price of 16.05 pence per share, to be held on discretionary trusts in favour of the beneficiaries of the EBT.
Application is being made to the UK Listing Authority for admission of 1,640,000 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission will become effective and dealings in such shares will commence on or after 25 January 2010. Following admission, the Trust will hold 8,255,304 ordinary shares in the Company representing 3.98% of the current issued share capital of the Company.
