Exercise of options and warrants
Purplebricks Group plc (AIM: PURP), the hybrid estate agent providing a new way to buy, sell or let property, announces that options to subscribe for 3,779,790 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares" and the "Options") have today been exercised by certain employees, including certain Directors detailed below.
Isabel Bruce, wife of Michael Bruce, Chief Executive of the Company, has today exercised options over 42,634 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 1.00 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the exercise, Mr Bruce and his connected persons are beneficially interested in 41,279,859 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 16.9 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital and hold 2,430,551 options over Ordinary Shares.
Neil Cartwright, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has today exercised options over 1,941,149 Ordinary Shares, of which 695,990 options were exercised at an exercise price of 1.00 pence per Ordinary Share and 1,245,159 options were exercised at an exercise price of 12.93 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the exercise, Mr Cartwright is beneficially interested in 1,941,149 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.79 per cent. of the Company's enlarged issued share capital and holds 917,845 options over Ordinary Shares.
The Company also announces that warrants to subscribe for 298,405 Ordinary Shares (the "Warrants") were today exercised by certain warrant holders, at an exercise price of 6.93 pence per Ordinary Share.
Pursuant to the exercise of the Options and the Warrants, an application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for 4,078,195 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective on 23 June 2016.
The Company's issued ordinary share capital following Admission will be 244,337,347 Ordinary Shares.
