BOARD CHANGE: NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Premier Farnell plc, the leading multi-channel, high service distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals globally, announces the appointment of Geraint Anderson as one of its non-executive directors, with effect from 9 November 2015.

Mr Anderson is currently interim CEO of Volex plc, a leading provider of interconnect solutions and power products, where he joined the board as a non-executive director. His former roles include Chief Executive Officer at TT Electronics plc, Vice President of Cisco Systems and Senior Vice President of Pirelli.

Commenting on Mr Anderson’s appointment, Premier Farnell's Chairman, Val Gooding said:
