Board changes: Non Executive Director
Premier Farnell plc, the leading multi-channel, high service distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals globally, is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Reddin as one of its non-executive directors and chairman of its web advisory committee, with effect from 30 September 2010.
Mr Reddin's expertise in marketing, branding, innovation and the web is expected to be of particular value to Premier Farnell plc as it consolidates its strategic transformation into a web-based business. As Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Coca-Cola USA from 1994 to 1999 Mr Reddin acquired extensive experience of brand leadership, successfully employed by him most recently as owner and managing partner of Red Dog Ventures, a US-based venture capital and advisory company focusing on early stage businesses operating primarily in online environments and cutting-edge technologies. Mr Reddin was President and COO, and ultimately the CEO, of LendingTree LLC during the period from 2000 to 2007 when it achieved the position of market leader in web-based lending in the USA.

Mr Reddin is currently a director of Valassis Communications Inc and Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc, both of which companies are quoted on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr Reddin was also a director of R. H. Donnelley, Inc from 2007 through 2009. There is no other information in respect of Mr Reddin that is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13.
