In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11R, Provident Financial plc ('the Company') announces that John Straw has decided that he will not stand for re-election at the Company's 2019 AGM and will step down as a Director with effect from 20 May 2019 in order to spend additional time on his other commitments.
Patrick Snowball, Chairman of Provident Financial plc, said:
