Appointment of Director

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Dennis Hunt, age 61, as Independent Non-Executive Chairman, with immediate effect.

Simon originally trained as a corporate lawyer, practicing with Macfarlanes and Gouldens (now Jones Day). He then switched his focus to venture capital and private equity, joining Gartmore Investment Management Limited and specialising mainly in the technology sector. Subsequently, Simon created his own investment and corporate advisory company, Cornerstone Capital Limited ("Cornerstone"), focusing on private equity, corporate transactions and M&A.

Since founding Cornerstone, Simon has served on the board of several AIM quoted companies in both an operational and executive capacity as well as non executive. This has included being CEO of Stordata Solutions Plc; Executive Chairman of IPSO Ventures Plc; Non-Executive Director of AFC Energy Plc and Non Executive Chairman of Strathdon Investments plc (now Strathdon Investments Limited after going private). Simon currently serves as the Executive chairman of GEM Biofuels Plc, an African agribusiness.

Luca Bechis has stepped down as Interim Chairman, but remains on the board as a Non-Executive Director. Mr Bechis commented, "We are delighted that someone with Simon's experience has agreed to take on this role at a time when the Company is undergoing a significant refinancing and at such a pivotal time."
