Oxus Gold PLC31 December 2007 OXUS GOLD PLC Partial Exercise of Option LONDON: 31 December 2007 - Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or the "Company") (OXS.L)announces that on 31 December 2007 it was notified by Zeromax GmbH ("Zeromax")that Zeromax has acquired an additional 5,503,646 ordinary shares in theCompany. The shares were purchased at 80 pence per share from RAB Special Situations(Master) Fund Limited ("RAB") pursuant to an option granted by RAB to Zeromax on6 December 2007, and extendable to 31 January 2008. Zeromax has the right toacquire up to a further 46,750,707 shares, also at 80 pence per share, under theterms of the option. Zeromax now holds 62,503,646 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 17.00per cent. of the current outstanding share capital. The remaining option can beexercised in whole or in part and should Zeromax exercise the balance of theoption in full, Zeromax's shareholding in the Company would increase to109,254,353 shares, representing 29.72 per cent. of the Company's currentoutstanding share capital of 367,654,127 ordinary shares of 1p each.
