Oneiro (LSE:ONE), the LSE-quoted Company focussed on energy transition, announces that Rod Murray and Rob Jones are today stepping down from the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") in order to focus on their other business interests. 

When the Company first formed, the Board believed the best opportunities for acquisition lay within the natural gas sector, however, the Board also considered the energy metals space attractive, as demonstrated with the announcement on 21 June 2024 of the Company's intention to acquire Switch Metals. Both Rod and Rob have spent their careers in the oil and gas sector and wish to continue to be involved in the gas transition phase, thus they have agreed with their fellow Board members to step down.

Andy Yeo, Chairman, commented, "I would like to express my deep gratitude for the efforts of Rod and Rob in founding the Company, completing the IPO and progressing to the stage where we have identified a suitable acquisition. With the Company advancing to its next stage of development in the exciting arena of energy metals, now is a sensible time for them to step away. I wish them all success in their future endeavours."
