Numis (the 'Company') announces that Alan Carruthers, Chairman of the Board, will stand down at the Company's Annual General Meeting in February 2022. Alan was appointed to the Board as Chairman in March 2017.
Luke Savage, Non-Executive Director and currently Chairman of Numis' Audit and Risk Committees, will succeed Alan as Chairman of the Board at the completion of the 2022 Annual General Meeting.
Luke has over 30 years of experience across the financial services industry. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Standard Life Plc and Lloyd's of London Corporation as well as senior financial roles at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley. He is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Chesnara Plc and is a Non-Executive Director of Liverpool Victoria Financial Services Limited, DWF Group Plc and Queen Mary, University of London Foundation.
On appointment as Chairman, Luke will retire as chairman of the Audit and Risk Committees. Numis will be undertaking a search for a new Non-Executive Director and will make an announcement in due course.
