Operational Update & Directorate Change

MyCelx Technologies, Inc (AIM: MYX), the clean water technology and engineering company providing patented solutions to the Oil and Gas industry and other commercial industrial markets worldwide, today announces an operational update and directorate change.

Operations

MyCelx is pleased to confirm that it continues to trade in line with market expectations.

The Company's expansion in recent years means that it has now outgrown its current head office in Gainesville, Georgia, and has recently acquired new offices in Duluth, Georgia, to house its corporate headquarters, laboratory and production facilities, and research and development department. The new head office will be operational from the beginning of June 2013.

In addition, the Company's Houston engineering and technology demonstration centre is now fully operational, and includes a demonstration system consisting of a MyCelx Advanced Coalescer, REGEN and Polisher. During the week of the global industry oil and gas Offshore Technology Conference which took place in Houston from 6 May to 10 May, the Company hosted a number of major international oil companies at its Houston office to view the MyCelx demonstration system in live operation. A video of the system in operation will shortly be available on the Company's website.

The Company has also further strengthened its capabilities with the addition of new engineering and sales personnel in the Middle East, Houston and London.

Directorate Change

The Board of MyCelx announces that it has been informed by John Mansfield Sr., Non-Executive Vice Chairman, of his wish to retire as a Director with immediate effect for health reasons. 

The Board has resolved to bestow upon Mr Mansfield the title of Chairman Emeritus upon his retirement.

Tim Eggar, Chairman, said: "The Board wishes to express its deepest appreciation to Mr Mansfield, the Company's former Chairman and co-founder, for his service to the Company. Mr Mansfield was instrumental in the Company's early development, providing funding and expertise to support its growth into a revolutionary oil-free water technology company with customers across the world."

Brian Rochester, Non-executive Director, has been appointed as Chairman of the Compensation Committee, and Swinton Griffith, Non-executive Director, has been appointed as a member of the Governance and Nomination Committee, with effect 15 May 2013.
