DIRECTORS' SHARE PURCHASE
Melrose Resources plc (LSE: MRS) ("the Company") announces that, on 9 and 10 June 2010, it received notification of the following changes in Directors' shareholdings as a result of the purchase of shares in the Company, further details of which are set out below.

Notes:
(1) Mr Adair acquired his shares on 9 June 2010 at a price of 245.25p per ordinary share and these are held within his personal pension fund.
(2) Mr Adair acquired his shares on 10 June 2010 at a price of 240p per ordinary share and these are held within his personal pension fund.
(3) The interests of R F M Adair as at 11 June 2010 include 57,391,423 ordinary shares held by Skye Investments Limited, a company in which he has a controlling interest.
(4) Mr Thomas acquired his shares on 10 June 2010 at a price of 243.03p per ordinary share.
(5) The Company has 114,668,063 ordinary shares in issue.
