Response to the ruling of the Takeover Panel Executive
The Board of Moss Bros Group plc ("Moss Bros" or the "Company") welcomes the announcement by the Takeover Panel Executive (the "Panel Executive") of its ruling that Brigadier Acquisition Company Limited ("Brigadier") may not invoke certain conditions of its offer for Moss Bros in order to lapse its offer (the "Ruling").
The Panel Executive has provided Brigadier with a short period of time to decide whether to request a review of the Ruling by the Hearings Committee of the Takeover Panel.
The Company will make a further announcement as appropriate.
