Directorate: Moss Bros appoints non-executive Chairman

The Board of Moss Bros Group PLC today announces the appointment of David Adams as Non-Executive Chairman. David will take up his new position immediately.

David has over 20 years of retail experience and is currently Executive Chairman of Jessops plc where he has overseen the restructuring of the group including strengthening the operational team and working to return the company to profitability. In addition, he is a non executive director of Whittards of Chelsea, the British Retail Consortium (trading) and the charity Walk the Walk. Previously, David was Deputy Chief Executive and Group Finance Director of House of Fraser.. 

Commenting on the appointment, Bernard Myers, Senior Independent Director, said: 

"We are delighted that David is joining us as Non-Executive Chairman. David brings a wealth of relevant expertise and will be invaluable support for Philip Mountford and his team as they drive the business forward."

Philip Mountford, Chief Executive, added:
