(MMC) todayannounced that Christine Walton has been appointed Vice President of PublicRelations for MMC. She assumes the position on April 2. Walton, 38, will report to James Speros, Senior Vice President and ChiefMarketing Officer of MMC. In her role, Walton will direct MMC's globalcommunications strategy, working closely with MMC's business units on media andpublic relations. Previously, from 1998 to 2002, sheworked at Merrill Lynch & Co., where she held a series of communicationspositions, culminating as the vice president of media relations for MerrillLynch Investment Managers in 2000.
