Lavendon Group PLC28 April 2006 LAVENDON GROUP PLC BOARD CHANGES John Heywood, who has been a non-executive director since the Company'sflotation in 1996, has today retired from the Board upon reaching the end of histhird term of appointment. Following John Heywood's retirement, the Board is pleased to announce theappointment of David Hollywood as a non-executive director of the Company witheffect from 28 April 2006. David, aged 59 and a Chartered Accountant, has had awide-ranging international career, culminating in 14 years as a main boarddirector and Chief Executive of the Industrial Services Division of Brammer PLC,from where he retired in 2004. Commenting on John Heywood's retirement and the appointment of David Hollywood,Lavendon's Chairman, John Gordon, said "The Board wishes John well for thefuture and thanks him for the significant contribution that he has made to theGroup over the past nine years. David's appointment provides the Board withbroad operational experience, both in the UK and overseas, which will be avaluable asset for the Group as it enters the next phase of its strategicdevelopment."
