Notification of Director's Share Transaction

Pursuant to paragraph 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, The Local Shopping REIT plc ("the Company") announces that on 10 December 2008 it was notified by Michael Riley, Joint Chief Executive of the Company, that 75,000 Ordinary Shares of 20 pence each nominal value were purchased on 8 December 2008 by his individual savings account at a price of 28.75 pence per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Riley is interested in 575,000 of the Company's Ordinary Shares.
