Scrip Dividend Reference Price
Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC) is a closed-ended Guernsey registered company established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan. The Company confirms that the scrip dividend reference price for the fully paid ordinary shares to be issued to shareholders electing to receive the scrip dividend alternative for the interim dividend for the six months ended 30 November 2014, payable on 29 April 2015, will be 57.4 pence per share.
The scrip reference price is calculated as the higher of (i) the prevailing net asset value per ordinary share; and (ii) the average of the Company's closing middle market price of an ordinary share for the five consecutive dealing days commencing on the ex-dividend date of 26 March 2015. The unaudited net asset value per ordinary share as of 28 February 2015 was 57.2 pence per share.
The expected timetable for the payment of the interim dividend is set out below:
