As previously announced, Johnston Press has been in discussion with its lenders regarding refinancing the Company'sΒ existing facilities.Β
AsΒ part of these ongoing constructive negotiations,Β the CompanyΒ is pleased to announce thatΒ it has agreed withΒ its lenders toΒ defer the testing ofΒ certain covenantsΒ atΒ 30 June 2009, the Company's interim period end,Β to 31 August 2009Β pending the outcome of its discussions with its lenders.Β
The Company will provide a further update on its refinancing discussions at the time of the Interim Results announcement.
