J.P. MORGAN PRIVATE EQUITY LIMITED ANNOUNCESTRANSACTION IN ITS OWN SHARES

J.P. Morgan Private Equity Limited (the "Company") announces that on 24 July 2012 it has purchased into treasury the following shares: 400,000 US$ Equity Shares at a price of US$ 0.67875 per Share.
The open market purchase will be accretive to the Company's current NAV of $1.14 per US$ Equity Share as at 31 May 2012.
Following this purchase the Company has 379,698,704 US$ Equity Shares in issue.
