Imperial Innovations Group plc02 November 2006 Imperial Innovations Group plc £7 million Imperial BioIncubator in South Kensington now Operational Imperial Innovations Group plc ("Imperial Innovations", AIM: IVO), thetechnology commercialisation and investment company, announces that the ImperialBioIncubator is now complete and operational as viewed by attendees at theImperial Innovations Spin-out Forum yesterday evening. The BioIncubator is acustom-designed facility which will provide office and laboratory space for upto 15 early-stage companies. Conveniently located on the South Kensington campus of Imperial College incentral London, the BioIncubator aims to accelerate the development of ImperialInnovations spin-out companies by providing a physical centre for the incubationand development programmes of Imperial Innovations. The two-storey, 24,000square foot building was jointly funded with £4 million from Imperial Collegeand £3 million from the London Development Agency (LDA). The BioIncubator consists of 12 wet laboratories, 16 private offices and a suiteof meeting rooms and provides the tenants with a range of research resources andbusiness and support services. Imperial Innovations, which is responsible forthe operation and management of the BioIncubator, will continue to providecompanies with strategic, management and mentoring advice. The following Imperial Innovations companies have already relocated to theImperial BioIncubator: - Advanced Tissue Therapies Limited - Circassia Holdings Limited - deltaDOT Limited - Hydroventuri Limited - Midaz Lasers Limited - Molecular Vision Limited - Nexeon Limited - Thiakis Limited A further five companies will be moving into the Imperial BioIncubator shortly.
