Board Change
The Board of Impellam, the leading provider of managed services and specialist staffing expertise, announces the following board change.
Andrew Burchall, currently Group Finance Director has informed the Board that he wishes to leave the company to pursue other personal and career opportunities. Andrew has served as Group Finance Director since Impellam was formed in May 2008. He has overseen significant improvements in shareholder return, profitability and cash generation during that period. As Impellam now embarks on the next phase of its growth and development, Andrew has decided that this is the right time for him to step down. He will leave Impellam at the end of July 2014 upon release of the 2014 Interim Results.
Julia Robertson, Chief Executive Office commented:
"The Board would like to acknowledge the contribution that Andrew has made to Impellam over the past six years and prior to that in his various roles with The Corporate Services Group plc. His knowledge and commitment have left the Group well positioned both in terms of operational resilience and financial strength."
The Board has commenced a search for a successor to Mr Burchall.
Trading across all divisions in the first quarter is in line with the Board's expectations.
