Directorate Changes
Following the announcement made on 3 May 2012-RNS Number: 5791C, the Company announces that Phillip Rose has retired from the Board and Mark Rattigan, an Alternate Director of the Company, has been appointed as a Director with immediate effect. This announcement is in accordance with Rule 9.6.11(1) of the Listing Rules.
Mr Rattigan is based in London and is a partner of Alpha Real Capital LLP ("Alpha"), the Investment Adviser and Investment Manager of the Company. As per Listing Rule 15.2.13A, given Mr Rattigan is a partner of Alpha he will be subject to annual re-election as a Director of the Company.
Mr Rattigan joined Alpha in February 2010 and was previously Chief Operating Officer and Director - Finance and Operations at RREEF (Deutsche Bank's real estate funds management group) based in London. He has 25 years' experience in real estate, funds management and investment banking. Mark has also served as Fund Manager of an international real estate investment trust which held a portfolio of European properties and commercial real estate loan assets. His previous experience includes 13 years in real estate investment banking with Deutsche Bank, HSBC Investment Bank and Macquarie Bank in both London and Sydney and 5 years as a property development manager at Lend Lease.
In accordance with Rule 9.6.13 (1) of the Listing Rules, the Company confirms that Mr Rattigan is a Non-executive Director of Alpha UK Real Estate Fund plc, a company listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
