Future Waves will market SoCs integrating Imagination's IP alongside FutureWaves' leading multi-standard RF technologies to enable a range of mobilebroadcast devices. Imagination Technologies' Broadcast Receiver IP Platform is based on thecombination of Imagination's highly efficient Ensigma UCC demodulation and METAprocessing cores. The solution delivers market-leading features and performance,enabling multi-standard broadcast reception from the same silicon area as asingle-standard chip. Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license feesand royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination's IP shipped by partners.Consideration for the license to Future Waves is by means of cash payment and anequity component in the form of a convertible loan note in Future Waves.
