Headline: Permanent TSB Group announces new director

Tuesday 26h July 2016.

The Chairman of Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc (PTSBGH), Alan Cook, has announced the appointment of Ronan O'Neill to the Board of PTSBGH as a Non-Executive Director.

Ronan is a Chartered Accountant with extensive career banking experience in both Ireland and the UK.

Speaking today, Alan Cook said that the appointment was part of the Group's ongoing process of Board refreshment: "Ronan's extensive experience in all aspects of banking, that includes both risk and treasury disciplines, will be invaluable to the Group and I look forward to his contribution in the months ahead."

Alan Cook also confirmed that Ronan will be appointed to chair the Risk and Compliance committee of the Board.
