The Board of The Income & Growth VCT plc (''the Company") announces that, in accordance with the Board's agreed succession plan, Jonathan Cartwright stepped down from his role as Chairman of the Board and as a Director of the Company on 30 June 2020.
The Board wishes to express its gratitude for the significant contribution that Jonathan has made to the Company as a Director over the last ten years, particularly in his role as chairman of the Audit Committee and then the role of Chairman of the Board over the last eight months.
Also in accordance with the Board's succession plan, the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Maurice Helfgott, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, to the role of Chairman of the Board with effect from 1 July 2020.
Maurice has extensive experience as a Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director with a proven track record in entrepreneurial, growth and established businesses across a wide range of companies. The Board welcomes Maurice's depth of knowledge and wide-ranging experience as he commences his tenure as Chairman.
