Robin Pinchbeck joins IGas as Non-Executive Director

IGas Energy plc is pleased to announce that Robin Pinchbeck has been appointed to the Board as non-executive director with immediate effect.

Mr Pinchbeck has 38 years of international experience in the oil and gas sector, having held a range of leadership positions in both oil and oil-services sectors

He joins IGas after a decade with international oil services company Petrofac Ltd, where he was CEO Operations Services and then Group Director of Strategy. Petrofac is listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Pinchbeck also served as a non-executive director on the board of Enquest Plc, for one year following creation of that company through merger of assets of Petrofac and Lundin Petroleum.

Mr Pinchbeck began his career with BP plc where he held various technical and general management roles over two decades with the company. He then became Group Managing Director at Atlantic Power, leading substantial growth in the firm before its acquisition by Petroleum Geo-services ASA, which he then joined as a Senior Vice President.

Since 2003 he has held a range of Non-Executive positions, including Sondex plc, SLR Consulting Ltd and Enquest plc. He is currently a Non-Executive Director at AIM-listed Enteq Upstream plc and Non-Executive Chairman at the international oil services company Sparrows Offshore Ltd.

Mr Pinchbeck holds 89,000 ordinary shares, representing 0.055% of the issued share capital of the Company.
