Forthcoming Trading Statement

The Company wishes to announce that it will release a statement at 07.00 on 26 January 2009 in which it will comment on trading to 31 December 2008 and on analysts' expectations of profit for the 12 months to 30 June 2009 in the light of decreased ferrochome pricing and uncertain trading volumes.
