ITE Group appoints a new Non-Executive Director
ITE Group plc announces the appointment of Sharon Baylay to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 April 2014. She will also be a member of ITE's Audit and Remuneration Committees.
Sharon was the Marketing Director and a main Board Director of BBC and BBC Worldwide from 2009 - 2011 with responsibility for all aspects of Marketing, Communications and Audiences. She joined the BBC from Microsoft where she was General Manager of the UK's Advertising and Online division from 2006 - 2008 and had previously been Regional General Manager of MSN International. Sharon spent a total of fifteen years of her career with the Microsoft Corporation.
Sharon is also currently Non-Executive Chairman of Dot Net Solutions Limited, and was Non-Executive Chairman of Havas EHS, part of Havas Media Group, from 2012 until earlier this year.
Commenting on the appointment ITE Group Chairman, Marco Sodi, said:
'I am delighted to welcome Sharon Baylay to our Board. She brings a wealth of international marketing, branding and communications experience which together with a strong understanding of digital marketing will further strengthen the ITE Board."
