Director/PDMR Shareholding
The Company announces it has been notified today, that on 10 November 2016 Katherine van der Meer, the wife of Tobias van der Meer, Managing Director of Hastings Insurance Services Limited, a subsidiary of the Company, disposed of 70,164 ordinary shares of 2 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company for £2.21 per Ordinary Share. Mrs van der Meer also disposed of 172,158 Ordinary Shares in the Company for £2.18 per Ordinary Share on 11 November 2016 and 145,837 Ordinary Shares in the Company for £2.18 per Ordinary Share on 14 November 2016.
Following the transfer Katherine van der Meer continues to have an interest in 611,841 Ordinary Shares. Mr Tobias van der Meer has an interest in 367,712 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.06 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
This notification is made in order to satisfy both section 793 of the Companies Act 2006 and article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation.
