Final Dividend for 2009
Scrip Dividend Alternative
On 24 February 2010 the Directors of the Company announced a final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2009 of 2.15 pence per ordinary share of 1p each payable on 2 July 2010 to shareholders on the Register on 28 May 2010.
The Market Value for the issue of ordinary shares under the scrip dividend alternative is 73.75 pence for each ordinary share. The Market Value is calculated as the average of the middle market quotation for the ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange as derived from the Daily Official List for the five business days beginning on 26 May 2010 (the day on which the shares were first quoted ex-dividend).
