Total Voting Rights
In conformity with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1(R) and further to the Voting Rights announcement made on 1 September 2008, HMV Group confirms that following the allotment of placing shares on 20 January 2009 the total number of ordinary shares in issue is 423,587,057 with each share carrying the right to one vote.
No ordinary shares are held in treasury.
The total number of voting rights in HMV Group is therefore 423,587,057.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, HMV Group under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.Β
