NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Porton Down, UK, 28 December 2011: GW Pharmaceuticals (AIM: GWP) hereby provides notification that the Company was notified on 23 December 2011 that Mr Richard Forrest, a non-executive Director of the Company, had purchased 10,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each, representing less than 0.01% of the Company's issued share capital. This purchase took place at the market price of 87.8 pence per share.

Following this notification Mr Forrest's beneficial interest in GW Pharmaceuticals plc ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each, has increased to 100,000 shares, representing 0.08% of the Company's issued share capital.

The total number of shares outstanding in the Company is 133,055,154 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each.
